About me
My name is Inge Kok and I’m Dutch. I was born in 1959 in Gouda (yes, where the cheese comes from) and I live in Amsterdam. After graduating from high school, I studied translation science and started translating novels from English into Dutch.
Spiritual side
In the meantime I worked on my spiritual side as well to find out who I was and what I was capable of. And one day, during a seminar, I just knew I had to write a book.
And then I started writing
So I decided I would write every day from 9 - 12 A.M. and translate during the afternoons. Six weeks later I had a little book: The Wondrous World of Wobbly Willy.
As if the story was already there
It felt more like writing down something that already existed in some other place than creating a complete new work. Most of the time I finished one chapter around noon, not knowing what the next chapter would be called, let alone what would happen in it. And yet the chapters do form an organic whole.
It wasn’t just me
That’s why I added Real Land as co-author to the book. And if you want to know what Real Land is, you’ll just have to read the book. I simply know for a fact that it isn’t my book alone. I was used – not in a negative way, I’m a happy volunteer – for the project, that contains many things I already knew, although it regularly surprised me as well. Hopefully you’ll have the same experience.
More books about Willy
There will be more books about Willy and his friends. Once this site is up and going I hope to start on the second one. And if the demand for them grows, maybe they can be published officially. Just check this website to see how things are going and I’ll let you know!
